I am a product designer with seven years of design experience. I started my career as a scientific researcher, studying infectious diseases in wild mountain gorillas. After realizing that I wanted to apply creative problem solving to other contexts, I joined Venture for America, an entrepreneurship fellowship.
Through VFA, I became the first product marketer at a small sewer technology startup. I eventually became their first product manager for a SaaS data management portal. I realized my love for design in these roles and learned how much impact design can have in connecting the dots between business needs, marketing objectives, and user satisfaction. Today, I enjoy bringing an interdisciplinary and creative perspective to problem solving, while creating intuitive and user-friendly designs.
I graduated from Emory University with a degree in environmental science. I enjoy rock climbing, bike riding, reading, and knitting in my free time.
